Divine Partnership: The Call to Co-Create
Imagine that our Creator wants us as partners, not only in faith but in creativity itself. Creativity is more than just self-expression—it’s a reflection of who He is. By inviting us to create, God invites us to reveal His nature and His presence in the world.
Think about that: the very God who fashioned the stars wants to work alongside you. To some of you reading, this is a calling. Perhaps you are one of those chosen to dedicate yourself to an instrument, or to worship, in a way that brings signs, wonders, and miracles—yes, even of biblical proportion—into this world. It might sound grandiose, and yet it should. This is not a sense of spiritual entitlement but rather an invitation to carry something sacred.
We are entrusted with the gift of sound, music, and worship that enables people to encounter God, to touch His presence, and to walk away transformed. This is a calling to carry music and worship with a power that awakens faith, so strong and so real that it stirs within us the assurance that God can move mightily in our time just as He did in ages past.
Imagine the privilege of diving deep into the living words of Scripture, gaining a knowledge and understanding that stirs our spirits. A faith that dares to believe: God can, and God will, do these things again.
To you who may be holding a simple penny whistle, a guitar, a ukulele, or any instrument—this is for you. Pick it up. Release what’s within you, let the melody carry your spirit’s expression of truth. As you do, may the wonder of biblical realities flow through your life. Let these ancient promises become tangible through you.
This is my prayer for us as we walk this path together—that each of us would step into this partnership with our Creator, letting His glory become visible through every note, every act of worship, every moment spent creating in His presence. May it astound us, and may it encourage us to the very depths of our souls.
